Psalm 66:9, “Our lives are in His hands.”
As we’ve taken time to seek the Lord and confess our sins, I’m curious how God has spoken to you personally.
One way He’s convicted me is the fear of being labeled politically incorrect. For staying silent when I should speak up. Sometimes silence can convey acceptance. There’s a time to speak and a time to be silent. I pray that I’ll know the difference and not shrink back as I have in the past out of fear.
He’s also quickened my heart about using my platform to be more outspoken. Not exactly sure what this will look like. I know there have been posts He’s wanted me to share or videos to do, but I shrunk back out of fear of what you might think.
There are other areas He spoke into as well, that I won’t share, but this I know: confession of sin is cleansing and refreshing. I praise God that when we take time to seek His face, giving Him free rein to search our hearts and confess whatever He brings to mind, He is faithful to forgive us. There’s also no condemnation in Jesus. We are set free to live in an abundance of joy, peace, courage, and stability!
Today, I conclude this series by praying the words of John the Baptist for myself. I hope you can too…
Luke 3:8: “Lord may I prove by the way I live that I have repented of my sins and turned to You.”
