MARRIAGE AND RELATIONSHIPS
Relationship Status: _Friend _Spouse _Parent _Child
✅It’s Complicated
SPEAKER: Kelly Hollis
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
If you live a life with people, there will be conflict. We’re flawed, imperfect, beautiful, and chaotic creatures. Even the most generous of us have self-seeking tendencies. But God gave us unique gifts to share with others.
How do we move past our selfishness and pride to create meaningful relationships with friends and loved ones?
There was one who lived perfectly, even thrived in conflict, Jesus. He also gave us a template to follow.
Becoming Christ-like is NOT for the faint of heart. It’s hard work, and it needs to be intentional – but the reward is always tenfold.
At our February Luncheon, we will learn:
- How to create sweet fellowship with friends
- Bring Peace into our homes
- Use our gifts in the selfless service of others
See how a few nuggets of truth can transform your relationships and glorify God.
MEET THE SPEAKER
Kelly Hollis
I’m Kelly – I’d love to spend hours extolling my countless virtues, but the truth is – I’m magnificently ordinary – and in the ordinary, I find great beauty. Humor is my love language, and I am intentional about spreading it. I’m certain I have entertained the Heavenly Host on numerous occasions.
I came very close to losing that when God allowed the unthinkable into my life. Catastrophic loss. Every parent’s worst nightmare, and for a short period of time, I questioned everything about our good, good Father.
My mustard seed was weak.
HIS faithfulness was strong – and He brought me back.
God didn’t fix the situation, but he made Himself tangible.
He was determined not to let me fall.
Today you can find me laughing with friends, spreading the light, and living each day with purpose –
He’s watching. I’m certain of it.
I’m a registered nurse, a wife of the love of my life of 34 years, and a Mom of two boys. One in college, and one on the other side of the veil. Both are remarkable young men.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
Anything but denim. This is a private club and we want to be good stewards by adhering to their dress code.
What if the price of the event exceeds my budget?
Contact us for information regarding financial scholarships.
Will I feel awkward walking in if I’m coming by myself?
Absolutely NOT! We learned from the Focus Group that we needed to be more intentional with people who are attending for the first time. Taking their advice, we have made adjustments so that women coming alone – for the first time – will feel expected and welcomed!
Why is it hosted at a Country Club and not a church?
