“…if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14
It’s a familiar Scripture and easy to dismiss the reality that one person could pray in such a way as to make a difference in our nation.
However, if given the tools, would you be willing to boldly believe that you can make a difference? Would you commit to praying and fasting for America in the next season?
Over the next 40+ days, our KGM team will devote time to prayer and fasting for our country. In desperate need of a mighty move of God, America’s biblical foundations are eroding as evidenced by:
- Out-of-control crime and lawlessness
- Secularism ruling the day
- Economic weakness at historic levels
- Stress on marriages and families resulting in brokenness
- Attacks on basic freedoms by our governments and courts
- Rapid decline of moral convictions
Our fast for the United States is “to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free…” ∼ Isaiah 58:6
Each day, in the accompanying prayer guide, there is a specific prayer focus based upon the ‘seven mountains or spheres of influence.’

America is broken and only a move of God can bring revival and awaken our culture to ultimately bring healing.
Prayer and fasting can turn the tide of our country’s spiritual decline. History has shown that revival is almost always proceeded by widespread movements of prayer and repentance.
