I just returned from our annual KGM Mother Daughter Retreat with one of the greatest realizations…there is something special about our KGM community.
This past weekend, we rallied together in the name of Jesus. Through laughter and tears, we created bonds with one another. We danced and sang like nobody was watching, ate a few too many s’mores, and worshipped God as our amazing creator.
Gleaning wisdom from the life of Daniel, we were inspired to stand firm in our beliefs in a wavering world.
I watched as a group of mothers and daughters who showed up as strangers, leave as friends.
I can’t help but wonder if everyone realizes that this ministry came to fruition because of the loneliness of ONE Woman.
Longing for the joy and peace she read about as a child, she began a plight to know God. A journey that would lead her to a ministry of her own.
Twelve years ago, Tara began gathering women to talk about Jesus and encourage them in their walk with God. Knowing that when women opened their hearts to Jesus, it would change their lives and the lives of generations to come.
Today, KGM is a vibrant community with one mission, Change the World One Woman at a Time.
We want each woman we encounter to feel the love of Jesus. Empowering them to develop a relationship with God through our Bible Studies, workshops, monthly luncheons, and annual conferences.
Whether you are a brand-new Christian, a skeptical observer, or a seasoned believer, there is always room for one more.
