Loving Those Who Rub You the Wrong Way

Self-awareness is critical.

Understanding our own personalities often leads to critical insights that inform and improve our interactions with others.

Think about it. We are created for relationships and cannot fully thrive apart from positive interactions with others. Each of us is uniquely purposed with a personality to make a difference right where God has placed us; the relationships with those people in our spheres matter and impact the quality of our lives!

However, if we are to enjoy healthy relationships, we should understand how God has uniquely made us. For instance:

  • How do we respond when people rub us the wrong way?
  • Why are some of our relationships harder to grow than others?
  • What kinds of behaviors frustrate us?
  • How can we deepen the quality of our connections, whether personal or professional?

Join us at our ONE WOMAN Conference on March 5th where one of our sessions, led by speaker and author Linda Goldfarb, will unpack four different personality types:

  1. The Mobilizer who gets everything done
  2. The Socializer who is the life of the party
  3. The Stabilizer who maintains the peace
  4. The Organizer who keeps everything in order

The test below will help identify which of the four types we may align.

Recognizing our own bents and those of others around us is game-changing. It is the first step toward growing into our God-gifted strengths while appreciating how to best engage others who may be gifted differently — giving us wisdom and perspective through which we can approach all of our relationships!
