John 7:38
Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”
God’s hand of blessing is on Iron Sharpens Iron. It is a place outside of the church – in the everyday hustle and bustle of life – where you can come and drink from the streams of living water.
Water that is refreshing. Water that nurtures our thirsty souls.
We had women come from Washington, NC and Charlotte. (3 hours away each.)
It’s not just a “Raleigh thing” anymore!
Why would you not take advantage of this?
Today, I want you to see what one of our luncheons is like. To make you a fly on the wall – so to speak.
As you can see, it’s a very special time.
This is Marsha! She’s on the KGM team. She assists our Event Coordinator, Kelly with our luncheons. Her husband’s business donates our centerpieces!

Kelly and Marsha had a fabulous idea for Christmas: Bundle past ISI talks with the book the speaker promoted. For example: this is my Bible study with my workshop from last month on CD.
We’ll make these available next month as well. Great idea for Christmas. If you want to order any – send me a note. We’ll wrap it for you as well.
Yummy food!
Arrival
We have a great salad buffet with soup, chicken salad, tuna salad, pasta salad, fruit salad and regular salad, as well as bread and muffins. As my sister, Heather says, “It’s the bomb!”
Our book table.
I welcome everyone and share the purpose of our ministry and luncheon.
Nancy Cobb, a KGM Board Member shared -
Cindy Finley led us in prayer
Her contact lens had fallen out prior to her coming to lead in prayer – hence the funny hand jesture! She is so great. She just rolls with whatever!
I introduce the speaker!
Our speaker!
Ministry takes place.
Sweet fellowship also takes place.
Below, two of the KGM Board Members, Nancy Cobb and Suzi McDuffee. Almost the entire Board comes each month. It’s such a blessing to have their support.
Below is Sandie. She handles all of the KGM administrative “stuff!” She contacted me a few years ago and asked how she could help. I have not run her off!!! She’s still here – being the biggest blessing in the world to us.
This month, a really cool thing happened – the ladies stayed and stayed long after the event was over.
Sweet, sweet ministry took place.
A little secret: both Phyllis and I were majorly sick! (We both refused to talk about it or share it with anyone.) She went to urgent care when she left and was diagnosed with an acute ear infection and sinus infection. Talk about perseverance!
I had a horrible cold. BOTH OF US were LIVING the POWER of PRAYER and the HOLY SPIRIT. I went home and collapsed.
Above, one of our first time guests. (I hope she’ll be back!)
Below: Cindy and her daughter ( can’t remember her name!) She came from Charlotte to surprise her mom by telling her: she was going to be a grandmother!
Our speakers – all of them – keep us on the edge of our seats!
Do you see? WE have women of all ages that come to drink from this refreshing spring! Please make plans to join us next month –
December 14th!
I realize December is busy, but make time to redirect your perspecitve!
Amy Carroll, of Proverbs 31 will be our guest speaker.
More details will come…
